Shopping starts Monday as annual Book Fair begins

Maumee Valley’s Fall Book Fair, with a theme this year of “Books are Sweet!,” starts Monday and is open all week. On Monday, students can preview the books in the Blakey Resource Center; shopping by classroom takes place throughout the week. Parents are welcome to shop in person, too. The fair will be open during family conferences next week (Oct. 24-25). Book selections have been made by Denise Phillips P ’25, owner of the Gathering Volumes bookstore in Perrysburg.

Payment can be cash, credit card, check (payable to Gathering Volumes) or charged to an MV account (by turning in this permission form). You can also shop the book fair online and choose to have the books delivered to the school or your home. (Remember to note in the comments that the order is for the MVCDS book fair.) Then choose local delivery and Gathering Volumes will reach out to find the best delivery location for you.

If you have questions or can volunteer to help our littlest readers on Monday, Oct. 21, contact Renee Moebius P ’31, ’34, library media specialist, at rmoebius@mvcds.org.
