A TEDx event featuring 12 local high school students is coming April 26 to the campus of Maumee Valley Country Day School. The free Friday event is 5-8 p.m. and open to the public and there is no need to RSVP. To access the event, guests may enter through the main doors of the Millennium Theatre; look for directional signage on campus. This event will consist of many breaks including one longer one towards the middle where snacks and dinner will be provided.

This year’s co-organizers of TEDxMaumeeValleyCountryDaySchool are sophomore Layan Ridi and junior Daivik Patel.

“We had tremendous response from our peers throughout the area, and the topics they chose will both entertain and educate,” said Layan. Assisting the MV students is Dr. Dan Cohen, a member of the social studies faculty at Maumee Valley.
