A night of community
The MV Gala is a once-a-year celebration of the MV community.
The event features an open bar, delicious food, good friends, and silent and live auctions. The gala is MV’s largest event-based fundraiser. It complements the MV Fund, both of which provide opportunities and experiences for students and faculty.
This year’s event is April 26 and will be our 46th Gala. The 2023 event raised more than $200,000 in support of our students and faculty, including more than $50,000 for upgrades and renovations of our athletic spaces and main athletic hallway.

Every year, one special project is identified as the “Raise the Paddle” project. It benefits from proceeds generated during the live auction, which closes out every gala. There is also a silent auction that precedes the auction, with items ranging from homemade quilts and shopping sprees to custom experience events with some of the faculty.
