A retired banker, he is vice president and general manager of Century Marketing Corporation, a speciality printing and product company based in Bowling Green, Ohio. He holds a bachelor's degree from Kent State University and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Peter Handwork '59 Trustee since 2009.
Judge Handwork became a court of appeals judge in1983, after serving as a Lucas County Common Pleas judge since 1977. He has served as an assistant US Attorney, as well as an adjunct assistant professor in the the College of Health and Human Service at UT.

President of the Maumee Valley Parent Association. Lara is a principal and chef of Two Seasoned Chicks, a local catering firm, and is a chef at the Sylvania Country Club.

An architect, she is the owner/principal of Wolfe Designs and holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Yale University.
Shelly Orenstein
Trustee since 2005.
A former writer at Scholastic and Field & Stream, she is now a grant writer for The Imagination Station in downtown Toledo. She has a bachelor's degree from Colgate University.
Fritz Byers
Trustee since 2002.
An attorney, he holds a bachelor's degree from Duke University and a juris doctorate from Harvard University. Byers is a visiting professor at the University of Toledo School of Law and hosts a radio program on WGTE-FM.
Ann Stranahan

An author, poet, and champion of education and the arts. Her current leadership positions include board member at Lourdes College and board member for Bowling Green State University's creative writing program.
Gopinath Upamaka
Trustee since 2009. Gopi is a leading cardiologist for NWO Cardiology Consultants. He is a trustee for ProMedica, NWOCC, and the Hindu Temple of Toledo.
Tom Webb
Trustee since 2005.
A partner in the corporate practice group in the Toledo, Ohio office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP. His principal areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions, international transactions, securities law, public finance and general corporate matters. Tom holds degrees from Williams College and Case Western Reserve University.
Berkley Welles '02 Trustee since 2008.
A member of the College Counseling Office at North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, Illinois, Berkley also teaches 3rd grade PE, 7th grade Health and coaches Middle School girls field hockey and basketball. She holds a BA from St. Lawrence University. Other board service includes the Cricket Island Foundation.
Aaron Baker '80 Trustee since 2009. Currently serves as Governmental Relations Specialist at the University of Toledo, assisting the institution's political activities in Toledo, at the statehouse in Columbus, and in Washington, DC. He is finishing his dissertation in Educational Leadership, Policy and Organizations from Vanderbilt University.
Jeff Helmick
Trustee since 2009.
Jeff is a current parent and has been working with the Buildings and Grounds committee. Although trained as a litigator, he primarily practices criminal defense in his private practice. Former board service includes the Pemberville Boys Ranch, Toledo Rowing Club and David's House Compassion, Inc. where he served as President.
