Students wins architectural award

Congratulations to sophomore Xin (Louis) He for finishing first in the freshman/sophomore category at the 74th Annual AIA Toledo High School Design Competition (HSDC).
This year's project challenged students to design a park pavilion within Rev. H.V. Savage Park for the Toledo Parks and Recreation Department. Louis also finished second in the Digital Media Competition. The HSDC Committee received 53 submissions from 13 Northwest Ohio schools. Congratulations, Louis!

Joining Louis at the awards ceremony was Scott Rossi of Rossi & Associates, his architect mentor, and Mallory Brazeau, an MV Upper School math teacher and Louis' faculty advisor for the project.
